April 2013

After a brief hiatus for writing and recording , Brio is back again – hitting it this time with vocalist/bassist Larry Antonino. The gig is at Genghis Cohen in Hollywood. I have played there many times in the past with some great artists, but this is the first time with my own band. (… and the food is great ,too)!!

The Joint

As it turned out, Brio played as a two-guitar band with an on-fire rhythm section….

Major FUN!!!!!

More gigs before the end of the year…

LA Debut for Brio

Yet another exciting line-up for our first “local” LA gig!

Studio day 1

Off to a great start…
Steve Sykes, Vinnie Colaiuta and myself went into the studio and came out with five killer drum tracks !

It should always be this easy and fun- This is why I started playing music in the first place!

Right on schedule….

This has been an amazing year. It was only the end of January when I thought about putting a band together again. Now, it’s October and I am excited about going into the studio tomorrow to start on my EP !

(The House of Blues gig was great – we will be going back there for sure…)

Brio’s Debut

Tonight, August 7th, is the first gig for the band. It’s at House of Blues in San Diego , and courtesy of my dear friend, Roni Lee and her band (who we are sharing the bill with). I hope this is the first of many !!!
